Brittney Shonk – Merit Bank – Senior Vice President, Private Banking Manager
Brittney Shonk joined Merit Bank, Huntsville’s only locally headquartered bank, in 2022. She received her B.S. in Business Administration and Finance from Columbia Southern University in 2018. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for United Cerebral Palsy of Huntsville & Tennessee Valley, Huntsville Museum of Art Foundation Board, and is a member of the Professional Advisor Council for HudsonAlpha. Brittney is a Legacy 2022 STAR dancing for HEALS, Inc., and was named a 2023 Rising Star of Banking. Brittney and her husband, Darrell, have been married for 11-years and have two beautiful children: Blaire (5) and Dean (3).
Where is your favorite place to kick back and relax in Huntsville?
One of our favorite outings is visiting The Moon Bakeshop downtown and enjoying their sweet pastries and atmosphere!
What is a fun fact about you?
In recent years I’ve discovered a love for running, and I even placed third in my age bracket in the 2023 Liz Hurley Ribbon Run!
