Brandon Gower – Wilson Lumber Company – Plant Manager
Brandon Gower began his career at Wilson Lumber at the age of 19 and joined the company full time upon graduating college. Prior to accepting his current position as the Southpoint Millwork Manager, Brandon began his career as a Business Analyst, but shortly after he began to quickly work his way up the ranks on the operations side of the business. This year, Brandon’s plant is scheduled to do over $40 million in revenue and build over 150K door units for customers across the Southeastern United States.

What is a fun fact about you?
I played collegiate baseball for The University of Alabama in Huntsville, and I am certified by the University of Tennessee Beef and Forage Center in Artificial Insemination and Tennessee Master Beef Producer Program.
What is the best part about working in Huntsville?
Working in the LBM industry for the past eight years, it has been rewarding to be a part of the continued growth of Huntsville. Huntsville has grown significantly surpassing Birmingham as the largest city in the state and it has been fun to be a part of that growth and development.
What is your best piece of advice for starting a career in Rocket City?
The Rocket City offers a wide range of industries and opportunities for individuals looking to start a career here. I would encourage them to find what they are passionate about and then explore all the opportunities that Huntsville has to offer.
