With 10+ years experience in the entertainment industry, Olivia oversees marketing and PR strategy at tvg Hospitality for The Orion Amphitheater, which has been recognized with nominations and awards from Billboard, IEBA, Pollstar, and AAF North Alabama. She splits time between her residence in Nashville and hometown of Huntsville, AL. She received her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Belmont University.
Where is your favorite place to kick back and relax in Huntsville?
Getting together with friends or family and walking around Downtown Huntsville.
What is a fun fact about you?
I am an animal lover, and a member of a trap & release program. Through the program, I’ve ensured over a dozen cats have received medical attention, gotten their shots, and have been spayed or neutered.
What is the best part about working in Huntsville?
I truly believe a rising tide raises all ships, and the growth Huntsville is experiencing has only strengthened the unified front of community leaders working to make the Rocket City an excellent place to live for residents, and a must-experience destination for visitors.
What is your best piece of advice for starting a career in Rocket City?
I believe that if you identify your strengths, and constantly work on them, you’ll find that your passions will probably overlap with those strengths – meaning you’ll end up doing something you love. Across industries in the Rocket City you’ll find mentors who are willing to invest time and impart wisdom to interested, hard-working individuals – finding those leaders and starting a dialogue is an excellent step in the right direction.
