Shawn Guzman, a realtor and associate broker at Capstone Realty, leads the Guzman Group, overseeing 6 agents who achieved $15M in sales last year. Shawn attended Motlow State Community College and is currently attending Allied American University where he is seeking a degree in Criminal Justice and Business/Marketing. Additionally, he owns Rocks and Locks, a nonprofit, and actively contributes to his community. Rocks and Locks does monetary and hair donations for local cancer patients.

Where is your favorite place to kick back and relax in Huntsville?

Downtown Huntsville is a great place to relax. Whether it’s a coffee shop like honest coffee or having lunch at the Martin with a great view.

What is a fun fact about you?

In my spare time I enjoy continuously staying busy. I like to remodel homes and come up with different design ideas.

What is the best part about working in Huntsville?

Growing up in the area, but able to see the entire city grow. I love the growth and the opportunities for the community. I love to meet new people and see where everyone is coming from and what their aspirations are.

What is your best piece of advice for starting a career in Rocket City?

The best piece of advice I can give you for starting a career in the Rocket City is follow your own dreams. There are so many opportunities here with technology, military contracting, Outdoors opportunities, construction, shops, eateries and ownership the opportunities are endless. You will have so many resources just locally from the leaders in our community to continue to grow whatever you desire to do.

To stay motivated I like to listen to podcasts or Audible books, specifically Eric Thomas.
