Stewart Whitt, CFP®, CRPC®, MS, is an Athens, Alabama native and is currently a Partner at Savant Wealth Management. He received his Bachelor of Science in Investment Management from the University of Alabama in 2007. He is a board member of the Alabama Golf Association and Arc of Madison County. Stewart is also an active member of the University of Alabama A-Club and the Athens Rotary Club. Currently, he is the only golfer inducted into the Limestone County Sports Hall of Fame.

What is the best part about working in Huntsville?

Even though Huntsville has grown significantly over the last several years, it still has a small town feel to it. You’re able to have a lot of the same opportunities of larger cities but can still make meaningful connections and have a close-knit network.

What is your best piece of advice for starting a career in Rocket City?

Find a community organization you’re passionate about and get involved. It’s a great way to learn more about Huntsville as well as meet new people. Families are moving to the area from all over the country and everyone has a different reason as to how they ended up here. Usually once they get here, they realize how great it is and end up staying for a long time.
