Battle, Stinson, and Whitaker Advance into Expanded Leadership Roles at ServisFirst Bank

ServisFirst Bank has announced three leadership promotions within its Huntsville office. Angel Stinson has been promoted to Regional Chief Operating Officer; Drew Battle has been promoted to Executive Vice President; and Stuart Whitaker has been promoted to Senior Vice President. These promotions reflect the bank’s ongoing focus on leadership, customer service, and continued growth in Huntsville.

“Angel, Drew, and Stuart are leaders who make a real difference; steady, dependable, and genuinely committed to our customers and community,” states Andy Kattos, Executive Vice President, Regional CEO of ServisFirst Bank Huntsville. “We’re fortunate to have them on our team, and we’re excited to see the impact they’ll continue to make in these expanded roles.”

Angel Stinson, Regional Chief Operating Officer; Executive Vice President & Regional Chief Credit Officer

ServisFirst Bank has announced the promotion of Angel Stinson to Regional Chief Operating Officer, in addition to her responsibilities as Executive Vice President and Regional Chief Credit Officer. Stinson has more than 34 years of banking experience in branch operations, corporate banking, treasury management, compliance, credit administration, commercial lending, and executive management.

She is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College with concentrations in finance and management and is involved in the Huntsville community through Leadership Greater Huntsville, nonprofit board service, and volunteer roles. She also serves on the Board and Finance Committee of the AUM Foundation and participates in activities with the American Heart Association, Women’s Economic Development Council, and 100+ Women of Madison County Who Care. Outside of work, she spends time outdoors with her family.

Drew Battle, Executive Vice President

ServisFirst Bank has announced the promotion of Drew Battle from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President. Battle manages a portfolio of middle market companies across North Alabama and beyond, with a focus on healthcare, commercial real estate, and insurance clients. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Finance and is actively involved in the Huntsville community, serving on the Huntsville Bible College Board and recently completing his term as Chairman of Leadership Greater Huntsville. Battle lives in Huntsville with his family and remains committed to supporting local organizations and businesses.

Stuart Whitaker, Senior Vice President

ServisFirst Bank has announced the promotion of Stuart Whitaker to Senior Vice President. Whitaker manages a portfolio of middle market companies across the Bank’s footprint, with a focus on freight and shipping companies, commercial real estate, and insurance clients. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Jacksonville State University and is an active participant in Leadership Greater Huntsville, graduating from both Connect 22 and Flagship Class 37. Whitaker is a member of the Committee of 100 Young Professionals, where he served on the BizPac Board in 2022, and is a longtime member of the Rotary Club of Greater Huntsville, previously serving on the Board. He resides in Huntsville with his family and remains engaged in community and professional leadership initiatives.
