The Huntsville Area Association of REALTORS® (HAAR) has announced its endorsements for the upcoming Huntsville City Council and School Board elections on Aug. 25.

The endorsements follow the association’s review process, which it said considered candidates’ records, community vision, and positions on issues including growth, private property rights, and homeownership.

REALTOR®-endorsed candidates are:

Huntsville City Council

District 2: David Little
District 3: Dr. Jennie Robinson
District 4: Bill Kling

Huntsville School Board

District 2: Holly McCarty
District 3: Payten Redfearn
District 4: Ryan Renaud

“Strong, vibrant communities depend on visionary leadership, smart infrastructure planning, and policies that encourage housing opportunity,” said Regina Mitchell, President of HAAR. “These candidates have a proven track record of thoughtful leadership and a clear understanding of the dynamics driving Huntsville’s historic momentum. We are confident they will continue to champion responsible growth and keep our region strong.”

HAAR CEO Tiffany James said the association’s endorsements reflect its priorities for both city government and public education.

The Huntsville municipal election is scheduled for Aug. 25. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
