June 23, 2021/in News, Employment, Food/dining, Hospitality, Manufacturing/by staff reports

A trio of area businesses representing the hospitality, manufacturing and food and beverage industries will be holding job fairs over the next five days.

Huntsville’s newest hotel, 106 Jefferson, will get it started on Thursday. Next comes Polaris, the recreation vehicle manufacturer on Saturday. White Bison Coffee/Twice Daily, a convenience store chain, wraps up the employment opportunities on Monday.

106 JEFFERSON

Huntsville’s first luxury hotel is opening this summer. Management is looking to hire 60 team members in all departments, including hotel, food and beverage, housekeeping, engineering and banquets.

Interested applicants are encouraged to apply online on the Valor Hospitality Partners or Indeed websites. Candidates may also walk in and present their resume at Lincoln Mill in the Design Lab, second floor on the south side of 1300 Meridian Street from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday.

POLARIS

The powersports manufacturer is seeking welders, material handlers and assembly operators to apply and start their career at its facility in Huntsville.

The job fair is Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Those interested should apply beforehand here. The plant is at 7049 Greenbrier Parkway in Huntsville.

All job fair attendees should be sure to bring a mask.

Since Polaris is a partner with AIDT, selected candidates will be contacted by AIDT after the fair to schedule an assembly assessment. AIDT is Alabama’s workforce development agency.

WHITE BISON COFFEE/TWICE DAILY

Nashville-based Tri Star Energy will open White Bison Coffee and Twice Daily a convenience store this summer at 8426 U.S. 72 in Madison. It will be the second White Bison Coffee/Twice Daily in Madison.

To fill the new store’s positions, Tri Star Energy will host a hiring event at Home2 Suites, 135 Graphics Drive, on Monday, June 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Candidates will be interviewed on-site.

White Bison Coffee and Twice Daily are seeking to fill assistant manager, cashier, barista, prep cook and host positions. The brands offer benefits such as weekly competitive pay and a fuel discount, saving employees $1 per gallon, up to 12 gallons per week.
