MTM Hiring Event

Mazda Toyota Team ONE Holding Hiring Event

Mazda Toyota Manufacturing (MTM) is looking for production members to join its team. During the CX-50 unveiling event, VP of Production Janette Hostettler stated that MTM has about 1,200 spots open for new employees.

MTM is making good on that promise, inviting job seekers in the Huntsville area to attend a hiring event featuring Mazda Toyota Manufacturing and up to 16 of its Team ONE partner companies.

The job fair will be in person this year in the Grand Ballroom of the Huntsville Marriott at the Space & Rocket Center, located at 5 Tranquility Base and will take place on Saturday, February 19 from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The event will provide a great opportunity for attendees to learn more about MTM and the suppliers and service providers who help build the all-new Toyota Corolla Cross and the Mazda CX-50.

In addition to the nearly 1,200 positions available at Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, the partner companies in attendance are seeking approximately 800 additional positions. Positions are available at all skill levels, including those with no manufacturing experience. Wages, benefits, and shift offerings will vary by company.

“Every position at every Team ONE company plays a role in the production of the Corolla Cross and CX-50,” said Katherine Evans, HR OSP Specialist and Team ONE coordinator at MTM. “There are roughly 2,000 open positions within Team ONE, all of which provide the opportunity to be part of the exciting future of manufacturing.”

MTM recently increased their starting hourly wages to $18.35 an hour, with top rates to $25.00 an hour for production team members. Starting wages for skilled team members rose to $25.64 an hour and top wages to $36.00 an hour.

In addition to Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, participating companies will include Aldez, Carter Express, DNUS, Madison Metal Processing, Magnolia Automotive Services, YKTA, Systems Automotive Interiors Alabama, Nippon Express, Toyota Boshoku, Penstone, Sanoh America, Vuteq, and Green Metals Inc.
