The Beach Company Announces New Commercial Tenant for The Range

August 11, 2022/in Construction, Development, Featured, Housing, Medical, News, Real Estate/by staff reports

Charleston, S.C.-based The Beach Company recently announced that it has signed its second commercial tenant at The Range in the past month. The Range is a new three-story office building at the western gateway into Huntsville on Governors Drive.

EyeCare Partners, which encompasses an integrated partnership of optometry and ophthalmology clinics and surgery centers providing a full spectrum of eye care, is expected to open its 6,337-square-foot space this fall.

“We are excited to provide for our patients’ eye care needs by opening a new ophthalmology clinic in The Range in Huntsville,” said Kari Holloway, Ph.D., Division President of Ophthalmology at EyeCare Partners. “Dr. Caroline Watson, a cornea and cataract specialist with Alabama Vision Center, will see patients in this location. Being part of this new development offers our patients convenient access to many amenities in Huntsville, as well as important aspects to our practice such as easy, on-site parking in a walkable area.”

The Range, which formally opened in July, offers 48,320 square feet of Class-A commercial office space, featuring ample parking, multiple entry points, and an open courtyard adjacent to the lobby that will feature a food beverage concept once complete.

Other amenities include Gigabyte internet and walkable access to nearby restaurants. Inspired by Huntsville’s aerospace history and booming technology industries, the building’s modern steel and glass structure maximizes natural light to create open interiors and high-end finishes.

“EyeCare Partners will join The Range’s first tenant, Bridgeworth Financial LLC, in what we expect will be a diverse mix that will cater to and complement the surrounding growing region,” said JC Darby, development manager at The Beach Company.

The Range shares a 14-acre campus with adjacent The Beach Company development The Foundry, a 342-unit mixed use multifamily and townhome development currently under construction. The Foundry is expected to begin leasing by the third quarter of 2022.

This development will be connected to Stovehouse and Campus 805 by a fully landscaped, 10 foot wide sidewalk, creating a walkable gateway to Downtown Huntsville and the surrounding developments.

Leasing at The Range is available through Wesley Crunkleton and Eric St. John with Huntsville-based brokerage firm, Crunkleton Commercial Real Estate Group.
