HUNTSVILLE, AL  – Breeze Airways, the Seriously Nice™ low-fare airline founded by aviation entrepreneur David Neeleman, is launching new service from Huntsville, including nonstop service to Orlando, starting on March 2, with fares from $49* one way, and a one-stop/no plane change ‘BreezeThru’ route to Charleston flight, starting the same day, from $69*.

From Huntsville, AL:

  • Orlando, FL (Thurs and Sun, starting March 2, Nice from $49* one way; Nicer from $89*), and
  • Charleston, SC (One-stop/no plane change BreezeThru on Thurs and Sun, starting March 2, Nice from $69* one way; Nicer from $109*).

Breeze currently serves Las Vegas, NV, and Tampa, FL, from Huntsville.

“We at Huntsville International Airport welcome new, nonstop Orlando flights to Huntsville on Breeze,” said Butch Roberts, CEO, Huntsville International Airport. “We are confident that our customers will be thrilled to have this seriously nice service to one of their favorite leisure destinations available just as vacation season begins.”

“When I spoke with Breeze Airways President Tom Doxey on his recent visit to Huntsville, he wanted our community to know that Breeze wants to do business here because of the people who call Huntsville home,” said Mark McDaniel, Huntsville International Airport Board President. “He sees our need for convenient, low-cost, nonstop air service to leisure destinations, and Breeze is committed to filling that gap for us.”

“As Breeze continues to grow, we’re excited to add more easy and affordable travel options for our Guests in Huntsville,” said Tom Doxey, Breeze Airways’ President. “We know both will be extremely popular, with Orlando being such a popular family-friendly destination and Charleston recently being named the best city in the U.S. by Travel + Leisure readers.”

Guests may choose from three price bundles that are offered as ‘Nice’, ‘Nicer’, and ‘Nicest’.  Nice and Nicer bundles are across Breeze’s fleet of Embraer 195 e-jets and Airbus A220s, while Nicest is only available on the A220s.   Guests may also choose a Nice or Nicer bundle and add a premium seat as well.  Breeze has ordered 80 brand new Airbus A220-300 aircraft, with options for 40 more.

Breeze doesn’t charge change or cancellation fees up to 15 minutes prior to departure and offers other benefits such as free family seating and a la carte pricing.  With seamless booking, no change or cancellation fees, up to 24-months of reusable flight credit and customized flight features delivered via a sleek and simple app, Breeze makes it easy to buy and easy to fly. Flights are now on sale at www.flybreeze.com and via the Breeze app.
