Integrated Solutions for Systems lands $47 million Navy contract
Integrated Solutions for Systems’ new Navy contract leads this week’s list of Huntsville-area companies that have been awarded contracts by the Department of Defense.
Other companies include Dynetics, BK Manufacturing Co., Blue Halo and Consumer Fuels.
The IS4S contract is a $47,768,691 firm fixed price contract for expeditionary maintenance and repair facility (EMRF) production for the Navy.
The program is for the fabrication of five fully outfitted EMRFs, consisting of 90 individual expeditionary maintenance and repair container (EMRC) prototype units and four additional fully outfitted EMRC variants.
The EMRF with additional EMRC variants will be deployed globally to diverse environments where the government will use them as data collection platforms to validate the EMRF concept.
The work will be performed in Huntsville and is expected to be completed by September 2027.
Other contract awards:
- Dynetics was awarded a $40,776,966 hybrid other transaction agreement modification to manufacture, deliver and support 14 medium range air defense radar (MRADR) production representative model systems.
The hybrid modification also requires depot level technical manual support, program management support, engineering change proposals, associated program management, logistics support, software support, and retrofit four MRADR prototype systems and four Marine Expeditionary Long Range Persistent Sensor systems.
Work will be performed at Huntsville and is expected to be completed in August 2028.
- BK Manufacturing Co. of Arab has been awarded a $28 million contract for wings and fins by the Air Force.
The firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract provides for wings and fins for the AIM-120X and CATM-120X series of Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles. The work will be performed at Arab and is expected to be completed by Aug. 27, 2031. - BlueHalo of Huntsville has been awarded a $11,243,255 Air Force cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification for Airman Improved Readiness.
The modification brings the total face value of the contract $41,240,260 from $29,997,005. The work is expected to be completed by Feb.13, 2028.
The Air Force Research Lab at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is the contracting activity. - Consumer Fuels of Huntsville has been awarded a maximum $10,625,482 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for MVSS sensor head kits.
This is a five-year contract with no option periods.
The contracting activity is Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support in Warren, Mich.
