The Beach Company unveils Merit Bank’s new headquarters at The Range

February 21, 2024/in Banking, Community Development, Featured, Finance, Lead, News, Real Estate/by Gus Wintzell

The Beach Company has officially completed Merit Bank’s newest location at The Range, a commercial office building situated at Huntsville’s western gateway on Governors Drive.

Serving as the anchor tenant since its announcement in early 2023, Merit Bank, a full-service bank headquartered in Huntsville, offers a comprehensive suite of commercial, consumer, and private banking services, along with treasury management, electronic banking, and mortgage lending.

“We are thrilled to embark on this new chapter in our growth journey within the vibrant Huntsville community,” states Will Heaps, President and CEO of Merit Bank. “The Range stood out as the perfect location to accommodate our expansion plans, offering an ideal environment for our bank headquarters. We extend our gratitude to The Beach Company for sharing our vision and look forward to a fruitful partnership.”

Spanning over 20,000 square feet across multiple floors, Merit Bank’s new location boasts approximately 17,422 square feet on the third floor, supplemented by a first-floor retail branch providing mortgage services and daily banking operations.

The Range, featuring 49,229 square feet of Class-A commercial office space, offers surface-level parking, a common-area courtyard, high-speed internet, and proximity to various dining, entertainment, and shopping options.

Inspired by Huntsville’s rich aerospace history and burgeoning tech sectors, The Range’s steel and glass structure maximize natural light, creating spacious interiors adorned with upscale finishes.

The Range’s location provides convenient access to downtown Huntsville, Campus 805, the medical district, Research Park, and Redstone Arsenal.

The property is located adjacent to its sister property, The Foundry, a mixed-use multifamily and townhouse development, and STOVEHOUSE, a popular Huntsville’s work, eat, play, and event complex.

The Range is anticipating the groundbreaking for the locations next development, Food City, which is slated for May.
