Delores is the owner of Baker’s Learning Kitchen, where she brings more than 20 years of education program development to the Huntsville community. Delores is a graduate of Alabama A&M University where she received her Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and a graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville where she received her Masters in Electrical Engineering. She is currently working on her doctorate at UAH. She is a wife and mom to two children.

What is a fun fact about you?

I can play piano. I’m rusty, but I can get my church through a service when our musician is out.

What is the best part about working in Huntsville?

I love that in Huntsville I can get pretty much anywhere within 20 minutes! I can run to the store, mall or a good lunch spot and decompress and get back to it pretty quickly! And when I need a change of scenery, Huntsville is filled with nice spots to plug in and focus! I love Huntsvegas!

What is your best piece of advice for starting a career in Rocket City?

Do your best work no matter where you are! You never know when your interaction with one person will take you to the next level! Word of mouth is the best marketing tool! So, treat everyone right and have exceptional work ethic!
