Drake State Foundation Announces 5th Annual Jazz in the City

The Drake State Foundation’s 5th Annual Jazz in the City will be held at Mars Music Hall at the Von Braun Center on Friday, June 19 at 7:00 p.m., featuring AJ Ghent and his Singing Guitar.

Ryon Schultz and Nina Marie Live will open the evening with musical performances. The event will feature live jazz and will support initiatives benefiting Drake State students.

The event serves as a central component of the college’s 65th anniversary celebration.

Proceeds from the event will support 65th Anniversary Scholarships, technology upgrades, and facility improvements, expanding access and opportunities for Drake State students pursuing high-demand careers in North Alabama.

Since its founding, the Drake State Foundation has supported students in completing their education and pursuing career and academic opportunities. Tickets will go on sale on 4/17.
